Welcome!

“We may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future.”

Franklin D. Roosevelt

I am Beatrice Moise, a board-certified cognitive specialist, parent coach, and speaker specializing in supporting neurodivergent children and their families. I have expertise in working with children who have ADHD, autism, and other neurodevelopmental conditions, and my technique is a holistic, strengths-based approach to parenting neurodiverse kids.

I often provide resources and guidance for parents, educators, and caregivers on how to understand better, support, and empower neurodivergent children, with a focus on creating more inclusive and supportive environments. My work emphasizes practical strategies that help both children and families thrive.

In 2022, I published “Our Neurodivergent Journey: A Parent’s Guide to Empowering Kids with ADHD, Autism, and Other Processing Differences,” which offers advice, personal insights, and practical tips for parents navigating the challenges and rewards of raising neurodivergent children. My second book, The Neurodivergent Home, helps parents understand how the home environment can significantly impact the neurodivergent brain and significantly affect behaviors. My third book, Neurodiversity and Technology: A Practical Guide for Parents of neurodivergent children on how to engage with technology positively. Drawing on recent neuroscience and taking a neuroaffirmative approach, chapters cover everything from creating screen-free zones and setting technology boundaries to transitioning away from screens and rewarding positive behaviors.

Through my books, workshops, coaching, and speaking engagements, I aim to promote a greater understanding of neurodiversity and encourage empathy and support for neurodivergent individuals. I have a UNIQUE parenting channel on YouTube that is dedicated to educating individuals on neurodiversity. I have had the wonderful privilege of being a featured writer and expert on Parents, PBS-Kids, and The EveryMom. In addition, I am a featured expert for NBC News and the Neurodivergent Expert for Verizon.
